When we gather
Sunday Eucharist, 10am
Our main service starts at 10am and usually lasts for about an hour and fifteen minutes, with morning tea afterwards. We meet at 196 Newlands Road, Newlands, Wellington.
What to expect
A relaxed, welcoming service
We are very relaxed. In our service we have music (a variety of styles), we hear from the Bible, there's usually a talk of about 15 minutes, we pray together, and we share Eucharist (Communion).
Everyone is welcome at God's table, either to receive the bread and wine (non-alcoholic available too) or to come forward for a blessing. There are also opportunities to be prayed for by the prayer team in another room if you would like.
Wriggling, doubts and questions, participating as much or as little as you like — all these are great. Our hope is that you'll experience God moving in your life, and that we may be part of that journey with you.
For families
Children are very welcome
If you're coming with younger people, we all worship and learn together. There's an interactive area down the front with comfy chairs, bean bags, crafts, books and toys for anyone who likes to have things to do while they take part, and so people can see what's going on. There are also separate chairs and traditional pews.
Some weeks we offer a dedicated children's programme — we begin together, and then tamariki head to the hall for a dedicated time of learning and fun together, joining again for Eucharist.
